Can anyone explain the causes that can lead to a decrease in weight in a normal person?

The common causes that lead to weight loss are

  1. Less food intake or skipping meals due to busy schedules in everyday life.
  2. Not drinking an adequate amount of water can also lead to weight loss.
  3. Diabetes Type 2 can be an issue if a person is losing weight without any new reasons.
  4. Diabetes Incipidus can also be a cause just like diabetes mellitus.
  5. Some medicinal effects are also be considered while determining the reason for weight loss.
  6. Inadequate sleep will also affect body weight and overall health.
  7. Mental stress is another main factor which results in a quick decline in body mass.

Weight loss can come from the stress level
If one overwork but eat less of course energy expended is way higher than what is taking in.
Taking of hard drugs and excessive intake of alcohol which are not nutritious.
