Using portion control to lose weight

This is eating very little food daily and a lot of people measure their food using their hand fist and they can’t eat more than that per meal. Does this way of portion control works?

This can work but it depends on some factors. Like the number of calories and the nutritional value contained in a portion of that one feast at a time. Sometimes, that single portion can contain more calories than all your meals put together. So this depends on what you are eating. Example, mixed fruits, and hamburger can be the same quantity but we know how much they differ in terms of calories and nutrients.

Eating only a little portion a day may cause starving in the end so why not eat more portions of healthy food like fruits and veggies and drink lots of water.

I totally agree with you while some food may contain fewer calories but the nutritional values may be low and as such still be harmful to the body. I believe eating more healthy foods maybe in small quantities throughout the day may help.
